The AMCF GI 2014 programme is being developed to allow for formal ‘teaching’ sessions followed by ministry and small group time.  The small groups will consist of six participants from various parts of the world with a trained small group host primarily from South and southern Africa.  At a recent training event “Warrior Training 2012” a pilot group of 16 Warriors were trained.  These Warriors were from Botswana, Malawi, Namibia and South Africa.  The training took place at the Wortelgat Christian Outreach Trust near Stanford in the Western Cape from 25 November to 1 December 2012.  The Warriors were equipped to host and facilitate small group discussions, Inductive Bible Study and Conversational Prayer.  They were also trained in developing and presenting their own testimonies as a way of sharing how God has worked in their personal lives.  The part that most challenged each of the warriors and probably also most enjoyed by all was the leadership development challenges they had to overcome in a small group context.  These 16 warriors were commissioned by the AMCF President to go and implement the new skills they have been equipped with within their Military Christian Fellowships and to inspire their brothers and sisters to attend the next Warrior Training event in 2014.
